Tails is an operating systems that is Linux based (Debian) that is designed to hide someones identity so that people cannot target you. I value privacy and I like to keep my business to myself. Tails is a "live" system aimed at using the TOR router to direct internet traffic through the deep web so you stay anonymous from surveillance. There are many operating systems out there that can do this but Tails leaves no trace on your computer. This OS comes with many great applications you can use but the primary goal is to get on the internet with nobody knowing what you are looking at, I really value privacy. I am not a pirate, but the freedoms of this country and the free world should be free and anonymous, just like God and others.
I use this system to research things on the web since I don't want my data bought by marketers to use to sell me anything. The steps to download and use tails are simple:
1) download the image iso from the website
2) burn it to a usb
3) follow the directions from the PC screen to safely remove the USB
4) plug it into the USB port and boot from the bios to start using tails
This is used primarily by journalists who want to stay private and not want any of there issues known to the public. Sometimes people use cryptocurrencies for payments through the web and this can be questionable since they say that cryptocurrencies may never take off and it may be a flash in the pan. If you value computers more than watching the idiot box like I do than this part of my site may shed some light on making your home more efficient.
I am on a limited budget so I value thrift as much as I do privacy
